Baltimore City

SHOOTING: Western District -- A resident of the 2400 block of Francis St. was listed in serious condition at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center after being shot in the stomach Sunday night during an incident in the 2400 block of Etting St.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered an apartment in the 800 block of Nat Court through a ground-level window between Monday and Tuesday and stole a 20-inch TV, an AM-FM cassette receiver and a VCR, all valued at nearly $900.

ROBBERY TRY: Northern District -- After a resident of the 3100 block of St. Paul St. refused to give a man a quarter near his home Tuesday, the man pulled out a knife and demanded his money. When the victim backed away, the man lunged at him with the knife, cutting the victim's clothing.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the 3500 block of N. Calvert St. was walking near her home Tuesday morning when a man knocked her to the pavement and stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $25.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- An ornately designed wooden cabinet valued at $1,000 was stolen from a house in the 5400 block of Green Spring Ave. between Monday and Tuesday by someone who entered through a first-floor window.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Tools of unknown value were stolen from several trucks owned by Potts & Callahan in the 2800 block of Falls Road by someone who entered the property between July 2 and Tuesday and stole keys to the vehicles before entering them.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- An 8,000-BTU air conditioner valued at nearly $500 was stolen from Lekay Leasing in the 1500 block of Clipper Road between July 2 and July 6.

RAPE: Northern District -- A resident of the 1700 block of N. Gay St. was in the 500 block of Ready Ave. early Tuesday when a man pushed her up against a van and raped her. The woman was treated at Mercy Medical Center.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- A gunman riding a bike robbed a resident of the 2400 block of Jefferson St. of $15 in the 2300 block of Orleans St. Tuesday morning.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- Someone entered the city-owned skating center in the 200 block of S. Linwood Ave. between July 4 and July 6 and stole $100, three telephones, a tape deck and a telephone answering machine, all valued at $1,300.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- After a woman escorted a resident of the 1000 block of S. Broadway back home from a bank Tuesday afternoon, she robbed the man of $150 and fled.

STOLEN CAR: Southeastern District -- A 1982 Chevrolet Citation with Maryland license plates XPX222 was stolen from the 1000 block of E. Monument St. Tuesday.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Someone entered a house in the 100 block of N. Aisquith St. through a kitchen window Tuesday morning and stole stereo equipment valued at $300.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- Two tires, two rims and two wheel covers were stolen from a 1992 Ford parked in the 600 block of Folcroft St. between July 2 and Tuesday.

THEFT: Southern District -- After a resident of the 1100 block of Broening Highway parked his disabled 1967 Chevrolet truck in the 1600 block of Washington Boulevard Tuesday night, someone entered the vehicle and stole his wallet.

BURGLARY: Southern District -- Someone entered a house in the 300 block of Otterbein St. through a front window Tuesday night and stole a TV, VCR and a telephone answering machine, all valued at $800.

Baltimore County

ROBBERY: White Marsh District -- Two men, one with a chrome-plated revolver, robbed the Royal Farms store in the 8800 block of Philadelphia Road of an undisclosed sum and several cartons of cigarettes about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday. Following the robbery, a security officer who was in the rear of the store chased the men toward Rossville Boulevard but could not catch them.

ROBBERY: White Marsh District -- A security man on duty at a recycling plant in the 600 block of Batavia Farm Road was robbed of his wallet containing more than $50 early Tuesday morning by a gunman and his female companion.
