BALTIMORE CITY

* ASSAULT: Southeastern District -- A man cut another man with a knife, causing a slight injury, after an argument between the two in the 900 block of S. Baylis St. about 11 p.m. Sunday. No arrest was made.

* BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Someone forced open the front door of a home in the 1100 block of S. Baylis St. about 11 p.m. Sunday and took a videocassette recorder valued at $325.

* ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- A man walking in the 3000 block of E. Baltimore St. was attacked by someone at 9:45 p.m. Sunday. The victim, who was robbed of $40, did not require medical treatment.

* BURGLARY/ARREST: Southeastern District -- A man was arrested in the Price Rite Supermarket at 1720 E. Lombard St. at 1:50 a.m. yesterday. Jemeral Junior, 21, of the 1000 block of Orleans St., was charged with burglary. Police said he had a duffel bag with $279 worth of merchandise.

* BURGLARY/ARREST: Southeastern District -- A man was arrested in the Greater Baltimore Medical Center Community and Family Health Center at 1017 E. Baltimore St. at 6:50 p.m. Sunday after police responding to an alarm found a broken window. Timothy Brown, 38, of the 1000 block of Orleans St., was charged with burglary.

* BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Someone forced open the front door of a home in the 600 block of S. Conkling St. about 8 p.m. on Friday and took a videocassette recorder and videotapes. The loss was estimated at $825.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone forced open a rear window of a home in the 300 block of E. 27th St. between 6 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. Sunday and took a television set valued at $550.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a home in the 400 block of Notre Dame Lane through an unlocked window of between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. Sunday and took a stereo valued at $300.

* SHOOTINGS: Northern District -- Two men were shot in the leg early yesterday in separate incidents -- one in the 3300 block of Greenmount Ave. at 12:30 a.m., the other in the 4600 block of York Road at 4:10 a.m. Both victims were released after hospital treatment.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered through an unlocked front door of a home in the 300 block of E. 27th St. between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. Sunday and took an air conditioner from a window.

* BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone forced open the side door of the International House of Pancakes at 6322 Reisterstown Road between 7 p.m. Sunday and 6:30 a.m. yesterday and took $250 from a cash register.

* ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A man was robbed by two men, one with a small-caliber handgun, who demanded money in the 2300 block of Tioga Parkway at 3:20 a.m. yesterday. The victim handed over $20, and both men ran away.
