* Mark vanReuth, of Brightview Builders and president of the Remodelors Council of the Home Builders Association, was named to Remodeling magazine's Big 50 list for 1993 in the category on sales and marketing.

* The Mechanical Contractors Association of Maryland Inc., a construction trade association of plumbing, heating, ventilating, air conditioning and piping contractors who employ craftsmen, has elected and installed the following officers and directors: President Ronald J. Wontrop, operations manager for Johnson Controls Inc.; Vice President Frederick L. Matusky, president of Flo-Tron Contracting Inc.; Lennart M. Shawker, treasurer and comptroller of Riggs Distler & Co. Inc., was re-elected as secretary-treasurer.

* Elected to three-year terms of the board of directors were John F. Fischer of J. F. Fischer Inc., Donald Meacham of Riggs Distler & Co. Inc. and Gary M. Saxon of Johnson Controls Inc.

* Continuing in two-year terms are Raymond C. Jung of The Poole & Kent Co. and John G. Martin Jr. of J. G. Martin Co. Inc.; Joshua C. Matthews of JCM Control Systems Inc. was elected to a two-year term.

* Continuing in a one-year term are C. Russell Conklin of Power & Combustion Inc. and Thomas A. Gorman III of T. A. Gorman Inc.; Billy Pitts of John J. Kirlin Inc. was newly elected to a one-year term.

* The Maryland Builders Association has elected David L. Corey Sr., a Hagerstown builder, as its president for 1993-1994.

Century 21 recently named its top agents and new sales associates: Jane Stiffler, Larry Beavers and Steve McDonnell has joined the staff at Century 21 Diana Realty's Route 40 office, where Cindy Spragg was top producer; Tony Green was named a new sales associate at Century 21 Diana Realty's Bel Air office, where Deborah Agro was top producer; Century 21 Plunkert in Carroll County named Paul Bosnick, Clarence Mott and David Coyte sales associates; The top producers at Century 21 Rohe & Rohe were Dan Klein and Dick Adams; Century 21 Neale in Westview named Kay Kauffman its top producer.
