Jerra, Coolbaugh power Suns, 5-2

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The Hagerstown Suns -- led by Jose Jerra and Mike Coolbaugh -- downed the Augusta Pirates, 5-2, in a Single-A South Atlantic League game last night.

The Suns' Kris Harmes opened up the scoring in the first inning with a sacrifice fly that scored Jerra.

Jerra (2-for-4) hit a bases-empty homer in the third and Coolbaugh hit his 11th of the season, a three-run shot, in the fourth.

Winner Brad Cornett (5-4) pitched 7 1/3 innings, striking out six.
