A Westminster resident reported Wednesday that someone stole the front license plate off his vehicle while it was parked near his Johahn Drive residence.

* Westminster: Westminster investigated smoke in the area on Guadelupe Drive at 12:02 a.m. Thursday. Units were out for 29 minutes.
Westminster, Reese, Pleasant Valley and Manchester responded to an odor of gas in the Department of Social Services building on Distillery Drive at 8:29 p.m. Wednesday. Units were out for 20 minutes.
