Closed Monday For The Holiday

The following offices and agencies in Carroll County will be closed Monday in observance of the Independence Day holiday:

* Circuit and District courts.

* State's attorney's office.

* Carroll County government offices.

* Northern and Hoods Mill landfills, as well as the Recycling Center at the airport.

* All county senior centers.

* All county public library branches.

* County school system offices.

* County social services offices.

* Hampstead town offices.

* Manchester town offices.

* Mount Airy town offices. Town Council meeting postponed until 8 p.m. July 12.

* New Windsor town offices. Trash collection is unaffected.

* Sykesville town offices. The Planning and Zoning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

* Taneytown city offices. The municipal pool will be open.

* Union Bridge town offices.

* Westminster city offices. Regular Monday refuse collection will be on Tuesday. Trash usually collected on Tuesdays will be collected Wednesday.
