ROBBERY/SHOOTING: Southern District -- A resident of the 2500 block of Southdene Road was shot during a robbery in the 2700 block of Wedgeworth Lane Monday night. After robbing the victim of a gold necklace valued at $700, the gunman shot the victim in the leg. The gunman escaped and the victim was taken to Harbor Medical Center for treatment.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- Two men with guns robbed a resident of the 2000 block of Wilhelm St. of jewelry and cash, all valued at more than $225, in the 200 block of S. Fulton Ave. Monday afternoon.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- A deliveryman for Vizzini's pizza in the 1200 block of W. Pratt St. was in the first block of S. Gilmor St. Monday when a man with a sawed-off rifle robbed him of food valued at more than $17.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- Two men hiding in a vacant house in the 900 block of Peach St. robbed a deliveryman for Pizza Bolis in the first block of E. Cross St. of money and food, all valued at nearly $200, Monday. The deliveryman was standing outside the house when the men came out from hiding and robbed him. Police said the phone-order was an apparent ruse to draw the victim to the scene.

BURGLARY: Southern District -- Someone entered a house in the 1000 block of W. Patapsco Ave. Monday and stole a TV set, stereo equipment and a compact disc player, all valued at nearly $3,000.

BURGLARY: Southern District -- A TV set and a microwave oven, all valued at nearly $200, were stolen from a house in the 1600 block of McHenry St. Monday by someone who removed the wooden frame from a window.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- Two men, one with a rifle, robbed the Toute food market in the 1200 block of W. Lombard St. Monday of cash, two Ruger handguns and employee's purse and money.

BURGLARY: Southern District -- Someone entered a house in the first block of S. Gilmor St. through the front door Monday and stole jewelry, a VCR, TV and other items, all valued at nearly $6,000.

BURGLARY: Central District -- Someone entered a house in the 100

block of E. Preston St. between Monday night and Tuesday morning through a door and stole property valued at nearly $2,000.

THEFT: Central District -- A resident of the 500 block of S. Madeira St. parked her multispeed bike in the 300 block of W. Pratt St. early Tuesday morning. When she returned a short time later, she discovered the bike, valued at $400, had been stolen.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the 500 block of E. 39th St. with a key Monday and disturbed several pieces of property but did not take anything.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1991 Pontiac with Maryland license plates ADJ787 was stolen from the 800 block of E. 33rd St. Monday.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- Someone stole a 1988 Oldsmobile with Maryland license plates SVS859 form the 3900 block of Greenmount Ave. Monday.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass with Maryland handicap license plates 86947 was stolen from the 4800 block of Lanier Ave. between Sunday and Monday.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Two bikes valued at nearly $1,000 were stolen from a house in the 200 block of Witherspoon Road Monday.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Property valued at more than $900 was stolen from a house in the 4300 block of Old York Road Monday by someone who entered through a kitchen window.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A TV and cash, all valued at nearly $150, were stolen from a house in the 500 block of Cedarcroft Road Monday by someone who entered through a kitchen window.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Police recovered tools valued at more than $250 that were stolen from a storage shed at Druid Hill Park over the weekend. A man seen carrying a cooler Sunday night in the park dropped it on the ground when a policeman attempted to stop him after noticing him acting in a suspicious manner. The man escaped.

ASSAULT: Western District -- A resident of the 2100 block of Westwood Ave. was walking near his home Monday night when he was attacked by several men who hit him with a baseball bat.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: Western District -- Police were seeking two men who attacked a resident of the 500 block of N. Gilmor St. in the 100 block of N. Gilmor St. Monday afternoon and attempted to rob him.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Property valued at $400 was stolen from a house in the first block of N. Eden St. Monday by someone who entered through a second floor window.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Police were seeking two men who entered the G.C. Murphy department store in the 400 block of S. Broadway Monday morning after breaking a window. The men escaped with two lamps and six magazine racks.
