Baltimore City

BURGLARY: Eastern District -- Someone broke through a second-floor window at Charley Rudo Sports, in the 500 block of N. Gay St., between 1:25 a.m. and 1:50 a.m. yesterday. Police said an undetermined amount of clothing was stolen.

BURGLARY: Eastern District -- Cleaning products worth $150 were stolen from McCall's Grocery yesterday about 6 a.m. by someone who broke into the store in the 1400 block of N. Bond St. by prying a grate from a front window.

BURGLARY: Eastern District -- Someone broke into the city's Riker McKenzie Human Development Center, in the 1700 block of Eager St., yesterday between midnight and 8 a.m. Police said the person got in through a rear window and took property valued at more than $500.

SHOOTING: Eastern District -- A 26-year-old man was shot in the back Saturday night in the 1200 block of N. Bond St. Police said a gunman fired four or five shots, hitting the 26-year-old once about 11:40 p.m. He was listed in fair condition at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Police said they have not determined a motive.

ASSAULT BY SHOOTING: Eastern District -- Two brothers opened fire on another man who escaped unhurt Saturday about 10:40 a.m. in the 1000 block of E. North Ave. Police said the brothers were arrested.

ASSAULT AND ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A man standing in the 4400 block of Moravia Road was robbed of his headphone set Saturday about 10:20 p.m. by two men, one armed with a shotgun.

ASSAULT AND ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Two men robbed another man of his watch and cash about 3 p.m. yesterday in the 4400 block of Moravia Road.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Someone broke into a home in the 3800 block of Kimball Road Saturday between 7 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. and stole an undetermined amount of property.

BREAKING AND ENTERING: Northwestern District -- A thief broke in to a home through an unlocked door that also had been left ajar and stole several rings Saturday between 8:30 and 11:30 p.m. at a home in the 4200 block of Pimlico Road.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone broke a lock on a storage shed behind a home in the 6100 block of Hopeton Ave. between 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m. yesterday, stealing a Weed Eater and a chain saw.

ARMED ASSAULT AND ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A woman sitting on her front porch in the 2800 block of Violet Ave. yesterday was robbed of $718 by a man who threatened her with a handgun about 10:20 a.m. Police said the man kept the gun hidden in a rolled-up newspaper and approached the woman, asking her if she wanted to read it.

ASSAULT AND ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A man was robbed at gunpoint of $26 by another man yesterday in the 3700 block of Colborne Road.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- A home in the 100 block of S. Pulaski St. was broken into yesterday between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Police said property worth $3,000 was taken.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Four teen-agers, two male and two female, robbed a man of $17 yesterday about 1:20 a.m. as he was walking in the 2200 block of Garrison Blvd.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- A home in the 2200 block of Wilkens Ave. was broken into between 10:30 p.m. Saturday and 4:30 a.m. yesterday. Police said a color television set worth $600 was stolen.
