Here's what to look for if you are traveling in the Baltimore metropolitan area this week. This list of highway projects includes only newly announced work, not continuing construction, which is extensive on several highways, including Interstate 95, U.S. 50/301 and the Baltimore-Washington Parkway.

New highway projects

I-95 southbound near Route 175 -- Single-lane closures at various times, day and night, tomorrow and Tuesday for resurfacing.

I-95 northbound between Route 32 and Route 100 -- Double-lane closures between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. today for resurfacing.

Outer loop I-695 between North Point Boulevard and Eastern Avenue -- Expect various lane closures between 5:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. today for overhead sign maintenance.

Route 161 Bridge over Deer Creek -- The bridge over Deer Creek in Harford County will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. tomorrow through July 1. Follow detour signs.

Route 134 (Bellona Avenue) between Ruxton Road and Charles Street -- Intermittent, single-lane closures between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. tomorrow through July 1 for surface, visibility work.

Penn Station -- Penn Drive, the service drive in front of Penn Station, will be closed beginning 5 a.m. tomorrow and continuing for one year. Passenger drop-off and pick-up will be at the west end of Penn Station, accessible from Charles Street. Closure is required for construction of Penn Station plaza and parking facility.

Warren Road Bridge over Loch Raven Reservoir -- Bridge closed to all traffic beginning tomorrow and continuing until January. Detour is north on Paper Mill Road, south on Poplar Hill Road to Warren Road. Steel grid decking and stringers being replaced, rehabilitation of truss bearings and substructure repairs.

MTA route changes:

The MTA has scheduled the following bus route changes for this week. Information: 539-5000; TTY for the hearing-impaired, 539-3497.

Temporary diversion

No. 11 (Rodgers Forge) -- Effective tomorrow from 2:30 to 7:30 p.m., Springlake Way will closed to all traffic because of a festival necessitating the following temporary route:

Northbound via regular route to Charles Street and Homeland Avenue, north on Charles, east on Northern Parkway, north on Springlake Way, then via regular route. No change southbound.

No. 2 (Catonsville) -- From 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. July 3, Frederick Road between Bloomsbury Avenue and Dutton Avenue will closed for a Fourth of July parade, necessitating this temporary route:

Westbound via regular route to Frederick Road and Delray Avenue, north on Delray, west on Edmondson Avenue, then south on Dutton Avenue to the Catonsville loop. Eastbound buses follow reverse route.

No. 23 -- From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. July 3, Old Eastern Avenue and Eastern Boulevard between Stemmers Run Road and Mace Avenue will be closed for the Essex Recreational Council Independence Day Parade, necessitating this temporary route:

Westbound via regular route westbound on Old Eastern Avenue to Stemmers Run Road, north on Stemmers Run Road, west on Marlyn Avenue, west on Myrth Avenue, south on Mace Avenue, west on Eastern Boulevard, then via regular route. Eastbound buses follow reverse route. (In case of rain, parade will be rescheduled for Sunday, July 11.)

No. 20 and Dundalk/Fort Howard shuttle -- From 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. July 3, the Dundalk Independence Day Parade will held necessitating the following temporary routes:

No. 20 -- Southbound via regular route to Dundalk Avenue and Liberty Parkway, then south on Dundalk Avenue into loop at Dundalk Avenue and Center Place. Northbound on Dundalk Avenue to Liberty Parkway, then via regular route.

Dundalk/Fort Howard Shuttle -- Southbound via regular route to Dundalk Avenue and South Center Place, south on Dundalk Avenue, north on Sollers Point Road, southeast on Merritt Boulevard, southeast on Peninsula Expressway, then via regular route. Northbound buses follow reverse route.

Nos. 3, 61 and 64 -- Effective tomorrow and continuing until further notice, the southbound bus stop on St. Paul Street at Penn Station will be temporarily discontinued due to construction.

Farmers market

Effective immediately and continuing every Thursday through Oct. 23, a farmers market from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. will close Allegheny Avenue between Washington Avenue and Joppa Road, temporarily rerouting these lines:

No. 3 (Sheppard Pratt) -- Northbound via regular route to Joppa and York roads, south on York Road, west on Pennsylvania Avenue, south on Washington Avenue, then via regular route. Southbound via regular route to Chesapeake and Washington avenues, east on Chesapeake Avenue, north on Virginia Avenue, east on Joppa Road, then via regular route.

No. 8 (Stella Maris) -- Southbound via regular route to Dulaney Valley and York roads, south on York Road, west on Pennsylvania Avenue, south on Washington Avenue, then via regular route. No change northbound.
