Boston Red Sox -- Activated IF Scott Fletcher. Placed IF Luis Rivera on the 15-day DL, retroactive to Monday, with a strained left rib cage.

Colorado Rockies -- Moved third-base coach Jerry Royster to first-base coach; moved bench coach Don Zimmer to third-base coach; moved first-base coach Ron Hassey to bench coach.

Florida Marlins -- Optioned C Mitch Lyden to Triple-A Edmonton. Designated OF Junior Felix for assignment.

Dallas Stars -- Acquired G Andy Moog from the Boston Bruins for G Jon Casey, completing the Gord Murphy trade.

New York Rangers -- Acquired G Glenn Healy from Tampa Bay Lightning for a 1993 third-round, entry draft pick.

Ottawa Senators -- Signed D Hank Lamnens.

St. Louis Blues -- Signed coach Bob Berry to a contract through the 1995-96 season. Named Ted Sator assistant coach.

Vancouver Canucks -- Sent D Doug Lidster to the New York Rangers to complete the John Vanbiesbrouck trade.

Washington Capitals -- Acquired D Enrico Ciccone from the Dallas Stars to complete the Paul Cavallini trade. Ciccone, 23, split the past season between the Stars (31 games, 1 assist, 115 penalty minutes) and their top affiliate, IHL Kalamazoo (13 games, 1 goal, 3 assists).

Soccer

Los Angeles Salsa (APSL) -- Acquired the rights to F Phillip Gyau, formerly of the Maryland Bays, from the Colorado Foxes for an undisclosed sum.
