HAGERSTOWN -- James Nix pitched eight innings of hitless ball, giving up just two hits in the bottom of the ninth, to lead the Charleston Wheelers over the Hagerstown Suns, 5-1, in a Single-A South Atlantic League game last night.

Nix (6-2) struck out 10.

Keith Hines spoiled Nix's no-hit bid with a single to left, and Ricky Cradle's triple drove in Hines for the Suns' only run.
