BALTIMORE CITY

* SHOOTING: Western District -- A gunman forced his way into a house in the 500 block of N. Carrollton Ave. Wednesday afternoon and shot the occupant after demanding money. The gunman fled and the victim was taken to the University of Maryland Medical Center for treatment of a gunshot wound of the buttock.

* ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 2200 block of Ruxton Ave. was inside a store in the 2200 block of N. Fulton Ave. Tuesday night when a gunman robbed him of more than $200.

* ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a resident of the 2400 block of Winchester St. of jewelry and cash, all valued at $1,300, in the 2300 block of W. Lafayette Ave. Wednesday evening.

* STOLEN CAR: Western District -- A 1982 Toyota with Maryland license plates RTN233 was stolen from a Mondawmin Mall parking lot Wednesday.

* THEFT: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 1000 block of W. Fayette St. Wednesday and stole a 13-inch TV set valued at nearly $300.

* THEFT: Western District -- A hammer and 100 feet of rope were stolen from a construction site in the 2200 block of W. Baltimore St. Wednesday.

* BURGLARY: Western District -- A musical keyboard, stereo equipment and a TV set, all valued at more than $3,700, were stolen from a house in the 1200 block of W. Fayette St. Wednesday.

* ROBBERY: Western District -- A gunman robbed Klotzman's pharmacy in the 1000 block of Edmondson Ave. Wednesday of an undisclosed sum of money.

* THEFT: Western District -- Someone used an ATM card belonging to a resident of the 1100 block of Shields Place to remove $100 from a 24-hour teller machine at Mondawmin Mall Wednesday.

* ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 2200 block of Penrose Ave. was riding his bike near his home Wednesday afternoon when an older youth pushed him to the ground and stole the bike, valued at $200.

* SHOOTING: Southern District -- A man from out of state is listed in stable condition at Harbor Medical Center after being shot several times Tuesday in the 1100 block of Cherry Hill Road. The man was talking to a friend early Tuesday morning when a gunman approached and shot him in the arm, leg and side. The gunman escaped, and the victim was driven to the hospital by friends. Police knew of no motive for the shooting.

* ROBBERY TRY: Northern District -- An employee of a store in the 5600 block of York Road was closing up Wednesday night when a gunman approached and demanded money. The gunman fled when another store employee arrived on the scene.

* STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1983 Toyota with Maryland license plates 575AML was stolen from the 2200 block of Ken Oak Road Wednesday.

* THEFT: Northern District -- A radar detector and tools, all valued at nearly $200, were stolen from a 1988 Toyota parked in the 3900 block of Roland Ave. between Tuesday and Wednesday.

* THEFT: Northern District -- Someone entered the back yard of a house in the 2700 block of Woodland Ave. between Tuesday and Wednesday and stole lawn furniture valued at nearly $200.

* THEFT: Northern District -- Chairs valued at $40 were stolen from the front porch of a house in the 2700 block of Woodland Ave. between Tuesday and Wednesday.

* THEFT: Northern District -- Two 40-foot ladders and other property, all valued at $700, were stolen between Tuesday and Wednesday. The items were outside a house in the 4000 block of Spruce St.

* THEFT: Northern District -- A pager valued at $70 was stolen from a 1984 Ford while the vehicle was parked in the 3800 block of Greenmount Ave. Tuesday.

BALTIMORE COUNTY

* STOLEN CAR: Cockeysville District -- A 1991 Acura Legend with Maryland vanity license plates UC2020 and valued at $33,000 was stolen from the 1400 block of York Road in Timonium Wednesday morning.

* BURGLARY: Cockeysville District -- Someone entered a house in the 13800 block of Princess Anne Way in Phoenix Wednesday evening after cutting a screen and opening a window and stole a 35 mm camera, video-camera and a 4-inch TV set with VCR, all valued at nearly $2,800.
