14-year-old charged in robbery of youth

A Columbia 14-year-old was arrested and charged with robbery Monday in the theft of $5 from another youth, police said.

According to police, the 14-year-old threatened to beat up the victim if not given the money about 2:40 p.m. Monday on Windstream Drive at Governor Warfield Parkway.

Police arrested the 14-year-old at The Mall in Columbia later that afternoon.

The suspect and the victim knew each other, police said.

* Harper's Choice: 11300 block of Little Patuxent Parkway: Police are looking for a man who was seen standing nude while peering through a window at a woman changing her clothes at 12:16 a.m. Tuesday. The man fled when the woman, who had heard footsteps outside her bedroom window, looked out her window to investigate.

10400 block of Little Patuxent Parkway: Assailants struck a person over the head and stole the victim's necklace about 8 p.m. Friday. The victim knew the suspects.

* Wilde Lake: 10400 block of Little Patuxent Parkway: Someone stole a silver 1989 Acura Legend between 9:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Monday.

5500 block of Vantage Point Road: A white 1985 Toyota Celica was stolen between 8 p.m. Tuesday and 6:45 a.m. Wednesday.
