Colorado Rockies -- Extended the contract of Bob Gebhard, senior VP-GM, through 1997.

Houston Astros -- Announced P Billy Wagner, the team's top draft pick, has agreed to terms on a contract. Assigned P Juan Agosto to Triple-A Tucson. Recalled OF Richard Parker from Tucson.
