Baltimore City

SHOOTING: Southern District -- A 22-year-old Randallstown man was listed in critical condition at Harbor Medical Center after he was shot in the left side in the 1100 block of Cherry Hill Road about 12:30 a.m. today. Homicide detective Barry Grant said the shooting appeared to be drug-related and that no arrest has been made.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Property valued at nearly $300 was stolen from a house in the 3900 block of Cranston Ave. over the weekend by someone who entered after breaking a pane of glass from a door.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 600 block of Whitmore Ave. was robbed of his Yamaha RT100 motorcycle in the 2800 block of Franklin St. Monday by a man who began pTC talking to him before pulling out a handgun. The cycle is worth $1,000.

RAPE/ARREST: Southwestern District -- Police arrested a man and charged him with entering a house in the 2300 block of Wheatley Drive early Monday morning and raping a woman. Being held without bail and also charged with burglary, assault and assault with a knife is Ronald White, 30, of the first block of Edith Court in Baltimore County.

ASSAULT: Northwestern District -- Police were seeking a man who assaulted a resident of the 3400 block of St. Ambrose Ave. in his home Monday morning. The victim was treated at Sinai Hospital for a laceration that required eight stitches.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 3500 block of Hayward Ave. through a rear door Sunday and stole property valued at $125.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Lawn-care equipment valued at more than $900 was stolen from a house in the 4100 block of Elderon Ave. between Sunday and Monday.

PURSE SNATCH: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 5800 block of Jonquil Ave. was walking near her home Monday night when a man stole her purse containing $25.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a home in the 400 block of Notre Dame Lane through the front window Sunday and stole a compact disc player and a cassette player, all valued at $300.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A purse containing cash and other items, all valued at more than $100, was stolen from a house in the 3800 block of Tudor Arms Ave. Sunday by someone who entered through the front door.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A Nissan with Maryland license plates ZPV674 was stolen from the 3100 block of Elm Ave. Monday.

PURSE SNATCH: Northern District -- A resident of the 300 block of Limestone Valley Road in Baltimore County was getting into her car in the 2200 block of Maryland Ave. Monday evening when two men pushed her into the vehicle and stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at nearly $40.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1991 Toyota with Maryland license plates SPD943 was stolen between Sunday and Monday from the 2900 block of Guilford Ave.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the first block of W. 25th St. was in the 2500 block of N. Charles St. about 9 a.m. Monday when a man stole a cigarette lighter she was carrying and then knocked her to the ground. While the woman was on the ground, the man robbed her of $165 and escaped.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1992 Dodge owned by the Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. and bearing license plates ZPW480 was stolen Sunday or Monday from the 4400 block of Craddock Ave.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a garage in the 3900 block of Falls Road Sunday after breaking a lock off a door and stole a lawn mower and a weed cutter, all valued at nearly $200.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered an office at Johns Hopkins University in the 3400 block of N. Charles St. between Friday and Monday and stole a small sum.

Baltimore County

ROBBERY: Garrison District -- Two men, one with a handgun robbed the Holiday Inn in the 1700 block of Reisterstown Road in Pikesville of an undisclosed sum Monday night. After the men entered the motel and asked a 22-year-old female desk clerk for change, one of them pulled out a handgun and jumped over the counter. The gunman then grabbed the woman by the hair and forced her to open the cash register. The men escaped on foot.

BURGLARY: Garrison District -- Someone entered a construction company trailer in the first block of John Eager Court over the weekend and stole plumbing fixtures and appliances, all valued at more than $2,000.

PURSE SNATCH: Garrison District -- About 6 p.m. Monday, a 72-year-old woman was walking toward her car, which was parked in the 7900 block of McDonogh Road, when a man stole her purse containing $40. The man drove off in a blue car.
