RAPE/ARREST: Western District -- Police pursued a rape suspect into a church Saturday and arrested him. The man was being held at the station in connection with the rape of a woman in the 600 block of Cumberland St. During the rape, the victim was struck in the face several times. The victim was treated at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

ASSAULT: Western District -- A resident of the 1100 block of Stockton St. was in the 900 block of W. Saratoga St. Sunday morning when someone shot him in the neck with a BB pistol. The victim declined medical treatment. No arrest has been made.

ASSAULT: Western District -- Police were seeking a man known as "Pool" who pointed a handgun at a resident of the 2000 block of Ruxton St. Saturday because the man bumped into him during a basketball game in the 200 block of N. Fulton Ave.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered the New Deli grocery store in the 2800 block of Edmondson Ave. through a rear door over the weekend and stole property of unknown value.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 1600 block of Bakbury Court was in the 1100 block of N. Stricker St. Saturday when he was robbed of $50 by two men, one of whom cut him on the arm with a knife.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A man with a knife got out of a car in the 2200 block of Presstman St. Sunday afternoon and robbed a woman of $25 and several pieces of jewelry before getting back into the car and driving off.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men assaulted a resident of the 1700 block of Thomas Ave. in the 2400 block of W. North Ave. Sunday night and robbed him of cash and jewelry, all valued at nearly $400.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 3200 block of Pennington Ave. was in the 500 block of Brunswick St. Saturday night when a man struck him with a piece of wood and robbed him of $200.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered a CSX box car while it was in the 600 block of S. Catherine St. over the weekend and stole several boxes of frozen french fries valued at $300.

SHOOTINGS: Southern District -- Police were seeking a man who shot his ex-girlfriend and another man after the gunman arrived at the woman's house Saturday night. The woman, a resident of the 4200 block of Prudence St., was shot in the leg. The male victim, a resident of the 2200 block of Callow Ave., was shot in the stomach. Both victims were taken to the University of Maryland Medical Center.

ASSAULT: Southern District -- A resident of the 800 block of W. Pratt St. was struck several times with a pool cue by another man Saturday at the victim's home.

BURGLARY: Southern District -- Someone entered the Greater Refuge Church in the 1800 block of Frederick Ave. between June 15 and June 20 through a basement window and stole speakers and a microphone, all valued at nearly $500.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- A resident of the 600 block of S. Payson St. was in the 1800 block of Cole St. Sunday when she was stopped by a man who asked for directions. When the woman responded, the man pulled out a handgun and robbed the woman of $60.

CUTTING: Southern District -- Police were seeking a woman who cut a resident of the 200 block of Edgewood St. with a knife during an incident in the 800 block of Cherry Hill Ave. Sunday night. The victim was taken to Harbor Medical Center.

Baltimore County

THEFT: Parkville District -- Someone entered a house in the 8700 block of Roper Road Between April 15 and early this month and stole a jewelry box containing nearly $5,000 worth of jewelry from the top of a hutch.
