Wolfe Elementary honors volunteers at lunch program

Elmer Wolfe Elementary School honored 35 parent and community volunteers who assisted at the school during the year at a luncheon June 3.

The fourth-grade class sang several numbers and instrumental students played some selections.

Patricia Amass, coordinator of compensatory programs for public schools, spoke to the group.

School Principal Mary Stong also presented the volunteers with certificates. Norma Knox is the school's volunteer coordinator.
