SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Keith Hines' RBI single in the top of the ninth broke a 3-3 tie and an eight-game losing streak last PTC night as the Hagerstown Suns beat the Spartanburg Phillies, 5-3, in a Single-A South Atlantic League game.

Hines' bouncing hit to outfield was misplayed by Spartanburg center fielder Shawn Wills, which allowed Angel Martinez and Santiago Henry to score and give the Suns a 5-3 lead.

Hagerstown (33-35) went ahead 3-2 in the fourth off of Martinez' two-run home run.
