Chris Roberts appointed

Chris Roberts has been appointed Marketing Director/Assistant Center Manager of Annapolis Mall.

Prior to his appointment, Mr. Roberts served as vice president/group marketing manager with Equity Properties and Development Co. in Miami, Fla.

As marketing director, Mr. Roberts is responsible for coordination of all Annapolis Mall advertising, promotion, special events and public relations.

Jennifer L. Dawson named manager

Jennifer L. Dawson has been chosen as manager of Dakada Sports in the Park Plaza shopping center in Severna Park.

A graduate of Towson State University, Ms. Dawson holds a B.S. degree in mass communications.

An employee of Dakada for four years, Ms. Dawson will be responsible for team accounts, advertising and promotions, and merchandising.

Development Council picks Winstead

The Baltimore/Washington International Airport Development Council has named David L. Winstead to the board of directors.

A partner with Wilkes, Artis, Hedrick & Lane, a Chevy Chase law firm, Mr. Winstead has served on the council since 1991.

In 1991, Mr. Winstead was appointed to the Maryland Transportation Commission by Governor William Donald Schaefer.

Nurses named to new positions

North Arundel Hospital has named two nurses to new positions in the hospital's Ambulatory Surgical Center and its 3C Medical-Surgical Unit.

The hospital has named Rosemarie K. Link, R.N., as nurse manager of its Dr. Charles R. MacDonald Ambulatory Surgical Center.

Ms. Link will be responsible for overseeing pre-operative preparation of nearly 10,000 impatient and outpatient surgical procedures annually, and will coordinate the hospital's Pre-Surgical Testing Area. She will also manage a staff of 18 health care providers.

With 25 years of experience in the health care industry, Ms. Link has served as a nurse manager at various institutions, including Johns Hopkins Hospital and Georgetown University Hospital.

Ms. Link resides in Annapolis with her family.

North Arundel also named Jerrilyn Kubin Spiegl, R.N., as nurse manager of its 3C Medical-Surgical Unit.

She will be responsible for organizing and coordinating the 27-bed unit, which has a staff of 48 health care providers who specialize in treating urologic, gynecological and renal patients.

Ms. Spiegl served previously as an R.N. at Doctors Community Hospital in Lanham. She is a 1989 graduate of Anne Arundel Community College, and resides in Severna Park with her husband and four children.
