4-run 8th rolls W. Va. past Hagerstown, 5-3

CHARLESTON, W. Va. -- The West Virginia Wheelers rallied for four runs in the bottom of eighth inning to defeat the Hagerstown Suns, 5-3, in a Single-A South Atlantic League game last night.

The Suns (32-34) gained a 3-1 lead in the top of the eighth on a two-run double by Ricky Cradle, but RBI from Mike Franklin, Jeff Manship and John Bess boosted the Wheelers (37-29) to victory.
