HARRISBURG, PA — HARRISBURG, Pa. -- The Harrisburg Senators loaded the bases and scored the go-ahead run in the eighth inning without a hit, and went on to defeat the visiting Bowie Baysox, 8-7, in Eastern League action last night.

It was the opener of a four-game series between the division-leading Senators (41-14) and the second-place Baysox (32-22).

With the game tied, 7-7, in the eighth, Shane Andrews led off with a walk and beat pitcher Tommy Taylor's throw to second on a fielder's choice off the bat of Chris Martin. Taylor was relieved by Dave Paveloff, who walked Rob Fitzpatrick to load the bases.

Curtis Pride (2-for-3) then hit a sacrifice fly to deep center for the game-winner. Pride had tripled earlier -- one of four extra-base hits by Harrisburg.

Winner Yorkis Perez (4-2) pitched a third of an inning, gave up one hit and one walk.
