Baltimore City

SHOOTINGS: Western District -- Two men walking in the 2100 block of Edmondson Ave. around midnight Thursday were stopped by a man who asked if either one of them was named Keith. When both men said no, the man pulled out a handgun and shot both of them, one in the right shoulder and the other in the left thigh. The gunman escaped and both men were taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center for treatment. Police said one of the victims was named Keith.

SHOOTING: Southern District -- An 18-year-old resident of the 2600 block of Hollins Ferry Road was walking in the 2300 block of Norfolk St. around 8 p.m. Thursday when an occupant of a passing gray Maxima fired several shots at him, striking him once in the left leg. The car sped off and the victim was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center for treatment. Police knew of no motive for the shooting.

THEFT: Southern District -- Someone entered a vehicle parked in the 1200 block of Ward St. Thursday between noon and 3 p.m. after breaking a window and stole an air compressor and several shirts.

BURGLARY: Southern District -- When a resident of the 1400 block of S. Charles St. arrived home around 5 a.m. yesterday she found a man sitting in a living room chair. The man ran out the back door. Nothing appeared missing.

BURGLARY: Southern District -- Someone entered a garage in the 300 block of Jack St. through an unlocked door yesterday and stole a circular saw, lawnmower and a vacuum cleaner, all valued at more than $2,000.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A multi-speed bike valued at nearly $300 was stolen from a garage in the first block of St. Dunstan's Road yesterday morning by someone who entered through the door. The owner chased the man for more than a block before losing sight of him.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Two bikes valued at nearly $700 were stolen from a garage in the 5000 block of Springlake Way yesterday by someone who entered through a side window.

ROBBERY TRY/ARRESTS: Northwestern District -- Police arrested two men yesterday morning who attempted to rob a man in the 3700 block of Eldorado Ave. at gunpoint. The men were pulled over by police who spotted their getaway car near the scene. Both were being held at the station pending attempted armed robbery charges.

STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- A 1990 Oldsmobile with Maryland license plates YTE 284 was stolen from the 3300 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway Thursday afternoon.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Property valued at nearly $900 was stolen from a house in the 4000 block of Hilton Road Thursday by someone who entered through a rear window.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Someone cut the porch screen of a house in the 4000 block of Cedardale Ave. Thursday and stole four pieces of lawn furniture valued at nearly $200.

Baltimore County

STOLEN CARS: Towson District -- Two Acura Legends, a 1988 model and a 1990 model, were stolen between 8:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. yesterday from the parking garage of the Towson Town Center in the 800 block of Dulaney Valley Road. A security officer spotted one car while it was being stolen and followed it a short distance before calling the police. The car was spotted southbound on Loch Raven Boulevard a short time later by police who pursued the vehicle before losing it near Northern Parkway.

ROBBERY: Garrison District -- Police were seeking a man who robbed Angie's restaurant in the 11900 block of Reisterstown Road Thursday afternoon while implying he had a knife and escaped in a car that was later stopped by police. After stopping the car, which contained three other people, the suspect jumped out and escaped. The three people were arrested and were being held pending charges of being accessories to robbery.

BURGLARY: Cockeysville District -- Someone entered the office of the Hunt Valley golf course in the 14100 block of Phoenix

Road Wednesday or Thursday and stole a fax machine and a lap top computer, all valued at $6,000.

BANK ROBBERY: Essex District -- A man robbed the Maryland National Bank in the 500 block of Eastern Boulevard of an undisclosed sum of cash Thursday afternoon after giving a teller a note saying he had a gun and not to hide a dye pack in the money.
