The Miami Dolphins have signed unrestricted free agent Mike Golic, formerly of the Philadelphia Eagles, to two one-year contracts at a reported $1.5 million.

Golic, a nine-year defensive tackle, had spent the last seven years with the Eagles.

His signing was the latest in the dismantling of the Eagles' vaunted defense. Philadelphia lost tackle Mike Pitts to the New England Patriots Monday, and earlier, All-Pro end Reggie White to Green Bay.

Golic started 13 games last year and posted 94 tackles, two sacks, a fumble recovery and five thwarted passes.
