Baltimore City

THEFT: Western District -- Police detained a woman who attempted to leave the Princess Shop at Mondawmin Mall Tuesday without paying for more than $200 worth of clothing and other items. The property was recovered. After producing identification, the woman was allowed to leave, but a warrant was to be issued for her arrest later.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Someone entered a house in the 300 block of S. Bethel St. through a rear door Wednesday and stole a bike valued at $119 and a cleaning machine valued at $75.

PURSE SNATCH: Southeastern District -- A resident of the 200 block of Woodvale Road was in the 100 block of N. Lakewood Ave. Wednesday afternoon when a man stole her purse containing nearly $150.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- A teen-ager who lives in the 200 block of N. Colvin St. was riding his bike near his home Tuesday when a man pushed him off the bike, valued at $200, and stole it.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- A Baltimore County man was robbed of his wallet and $175 Tuesday in the 1300 block of E. Fayette St. after he removed the wallet from his back pocket when two youths asked him for money. While facing one youth, the second grabbed the man's wallet from behind. Both youths escaped.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Someone entered a house under renovation in the 600 block of N. Lakewood Ave. Tuesday night or Wednesday morning and stole a screw gun, circular saw and five gallons of paint, all valued at $220.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- A man armed with a pair of pliers robbed a resident of the 2200 block of Eastern Ave. of his bike in the 600 block of S. Bond St. Wednesday. During the robbery, the victim was cut on the head and arm.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Someone entered an apartment in the 2100 block of E. Pratt St. Wednesday and stole a VCR and a microwave oven.

STOLEN CAR: Southeastern District -- A 1985 Toyota with Pennsylvania license plate WJF552 was stolen from the 2200 block of E. Lombard St. Tuesday night or Wednesday.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- Someone stole two multispeed bikes from the back yard of a house in the 800 block of S. Bond St. Tuesday. The bikes were valued at $500.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered the Park Heights Medical Center in the 4400 block of Park Heights Ave. Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. It was not immediately known if any property was stolen.

STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- A 1977 Oldsmobile with Maryland license plates ADK269 was stolen from the 3300 block of Clarks Lane Tuesday night or Wednesday.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 4300 block of Kathland Ave. was in the 4100 block of Maine Ave. Wednesday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $25.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the 600 block of E. 27th St. was in the 2900 block of Loch Raven Boulevard Wednesday evening when a gunman struck him with the weapon and robbed him of $25 and a bike.

PURSE SNATCH: Northern District -- A man who implied he was armed with a handgun robbed a resident of the 2800 block of W. Cold Spring Lane of her purse Tuesday night in the 4600 block of Pall Mall Road.

Baltimore County

BURGLARY: Parkville District -- Someone entered the Fairlanes Bowlng Center at the Perring Parkway Shopping Center in the 2500 block of Cleanleigh Drive Tuesday night or Wednesday morning through a rear door and stole an undisclosed sum from several vending machines.

THEFT: Parkville District -- A check made out for $2,000 was stolen from a house in the 5900 block of Meadow Road Wednesday.

STOLEN CAR: Towson District -- A 1988 Acura Legend valued at $16,000 with Maryland vanity license plates RESIA was stolen from the garage at the Towson Town Center in the 800 block of Dulaney Valley Road Wednesday.

BURGLARY: Woodlawn District -- Stereo equipment and a VCR, all valued at $500, were stolen from a house in the 7300 block of Inwood Road in Catonsville Wednesday evening by someone who entered by breaking a window.
