BALTIMORE CITY* THEFT/ARRESTS:

BALTIMORE CITY

* THEFT/ARRESTS: Northeastern District -- Three men suspected of stealing an air compressor valued at more than $1,000 from a construction site in the 6400 block of Pulaski Highway Monday night were arrested Tuesday night in a room at a motel not far from the scene of the theft.

* RAPE: Northeastern District -- Police were seeking a man who raped a girl in a wooded area off the 5200 block of Parkside Drive Tuesday. After the girl escaped and went home, she was treated and released at the Francis Scott Key Medical Center.

* BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A microwave oven, telephone, plastic containers, a video game and its accessories, all valued at more than $600, were stolen from a house in the 2700 block of Fenwick Ave. Tuesday.

* STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1992 Honda with Pennsylvania license plates CMC388 was stolen Monday night from the 4400 block of Falls Road.

* THEFT: Northern District -- Someone entered a room near the emergency room at Sinai Hospital in the 2400 block of W. Belvedere Ave. Tuesday and stole an employee's 23-inch bike valued at $500.

* THEFT: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the 5300 block of Ready Ave. Monday and stole a stove, fans and a refrigerator, all valued at more than $900.

* THEFT: Western District -- While a resident of the 900 block of N. Streeper St. in east Baltimore was inside a church in the 800 block of N. Arlington Ave. Tuesday someone entered her car parked outside and stole a purse containing cash and property, all valued at nearly $300.

* STOLEN CAR: Western District -- A 1993 Nissan with Maryland plates 97648B was stolen Tuesday from the 1900 block of W. Lanvale St.

* ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 3900 block of Penhurst Ave. was in the 2500 block of Liberty Heights Ave. Monday night when two men robbed him of a pair of shoes valued at $15.

* ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a resident of the 1700 block of N. Hilton St. in the 1700 block of N. Ellamont St. of $30 Tuesday.

* SHOOTING: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 3700 block of Old Frederick Road was shot in the hand early Tuesday morning by one of two men when he answered a knock at his door. The men escaped and the victim was taken to St. Agnes Hospital for treatment and is listed in good condition.

* SHOOTING: Southwestern District -- Police were seeking a man who shot a resident of the 2700 block of Calverton Heights during an incident in the 1100 block of Poplar Grove St. Tuesday morning. The victim was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center and released.

* CARJACKING: Southwestern District -- A gunman forced a resident of the 4600 block of Horizon Circle out of his 1991 Mustang GT with Maryland license plates YSS339 in the 2000 block of Bloomingdale Road around 6 a.m. Tuesday and drove off.

* ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Two men robbed a resident of the 2800 block of Westwood Ave. of $10 in the 200 block of N. Monastery Ave. Tuesday afternoon.

BALTIMORE COUNTY

* THEFT: Essex District -- A propeller, canvas top, gas cans, outboard motor and other property, all valued at nearly $1,000, were stolen from a 17-foot cruiser that was parked on a trailer in the driveway of a home in the 700 block of Seawall Road Tuesday evening.

* STOLEN CAR: Towson District -- A 1988 Acura Legend with Maryland license plates VSS316 was stolen from the the Dulaney Valley Shopping Center in the 800 block of Dulaney Valley Road Tuesday night.

* ROBBERY: Towson District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed the 7-Eleven store in the 6300 block of Sherwood Road of less than $100 around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.

* ROBBERY: Towson District -- A couple was removing groceries from their car in the driveway of their home in the 6300 block of LeGrange Road around noon Tuesday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed them of $50.

* ROBBERY: Towson District -- A Towson resident was walking across the parking lot at the Dulaney Valley Plaza in the 800 block of Dulaney Valley Road Tuesday afternoon when he was robbed of his wallet, cash and a diamond ring, all valued at $1,500, by three men.
