BALTIMORE CITY

* RAPE/ARREST: Northeastern District -- Police arrested a man who entered a house in the 1300 block of Silverthorn Road on Wednesday and raped the occupant after he asked to use the telephone. The man, police said, was the ex-boyfriend of the victim's sister.

* ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 2000 block of Cecil Ave. was about to enter her car in the 500 block of E. 27th St. Wednesday afternoon when a man she knows stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $40.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the 5200 block of Gallagher Court through the front door and stole stereo equipment, a bike and other pieces of property, all valued at more than $1,000.

* ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the 2500 block of Barclay St. was walking near his home Thursday morning when he was attacked from the rear by a man who robbed him of $40.

* STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1992 Acura Vigor with Maryland license plates ZYK514 was stolen from the 1400 block of Old Cold Spring Lane Wednesday night or Thursday morning.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the 400 block of Homeland Ave. June 1 through an unlocked window and stole a compact disc music center valued at $300 from the bedroom.

* ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the 2800 block of Edgecombe Circle South was entering a car at her home Wednesday when a man stole her purse with $25.

* ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 1700 block of Poplar Grove St. was walking near her home Wednesday night when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at more than $200.

* THEFT: Southwestern District -- Someone entered a car parked in the 600 block of Chapel Gate Lane Wednesday and stole stereo equipment valued at nearly $400.

* THEFT: Southwestern District -- Someone entered the back yard of a house in the first block of N. Woodington Road on Wednesday and stole property valued at $200.

* ASSAULT: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 3800 block of Rokeby Road was in the 3700 block of Gelston Drive Wednesday morning when a man pushed him into the path of an oncoming car. The victim was not seriously injured and the other man is being sought.

* BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered a garage in the 700 block of Brookwood Road between May 31 and Wednesday and stole bikes valued at more than $600.

* THEFT: Southwestern District -- Tools valued at more than $2,000 were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 2300 block of Wilkens Ave. Wednesday night.

* THEFT: Southwestern District -- Property valued at $1,000 was stolen from the Baltimore Electronic Television School in the 1500 block of S. Caton Ave. Wednesday.

* THEFT: Southwestern District -- Someone entered a car parked in the 3100 block of Clifton Ave. Wednesday and stole property valued at more than $1,000.

* THEFT: Southwestern District -- Police were seeking a man who entered a house in the 1600 block of Longwood St. Thursday and stole property valued at more than $1,000.

* SHOOTING: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 400 block of Lynnhill Road was admitted to the University of Maryland Medical Center Thursday night after being shot in the left ankle by a gunman during an incident in the 3600 block of Edmondson Ave. No arrest had been made.

* BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- A VCR, camera, cash and jewelry, all valued at nearly $2,000, were stolen from a house in the 4300 block of Parkton St. Thursday by someone who entered through a door.

* ASSAULT: Western District -- Police were seeking a man who stabbed a resident of the 2200 block of Pennsylvania Ave. Thursday during an argument near the victim's home. The victim refused medical treatment for a minor injury.

BALTIMORE COUNTY

* STABBING: Garrison District -- A resident of Randallstown was admitted to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center after being stabbed Thursday night during an argument inside a car parked outside the McDonald's restaurant at Liberty Road and Pikeswood Drive. After two men in the car drove off, the victim walked into a nearby business and told an employee to call an ambulance. Police said the victim was stabbed in the back and was listed in good condition. No arrests had been made.
