Neall names Morris Shreves officer of year

Pasadena resident Morris W. Shreves was named 1993 Detention Officer of the Year by County Executive Robert R. Neall at a recent ceremony as part of National Correctional Officers Week.

Mr. Shreves has held a Level 2 standing, marking excellent service, for the past three years.

A graduate of Glen Burnie High School, Mr. Shreves attends classes at Anne Arundel Community College.

As a member of the United States Marine Corps Reserves, Mr. Shreves participated in Operation Desert Storm, serving with the 4th Combat Engineering Battalion.

He has received many letters of commendation and recognition for his service during his three years with the Detention Center.
