Suns split pair with Phillies

HAGERSTOWN -- Mark Teanberg pitched a four-hitter to give the Spartansburg Phillies a 4-1 win and a doubleheader split with the Hagerstown Suns last night in the South Atlantic League.

Jose Herrera hit a three-run homer to cap a four-run fourth inning as the Suns won the opener, 7-0. Hagerstown's Steve Renko (3-1) went 5 2/3 shutout innings, giving up five hits.
