Rain forces Suns to play two today

SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- The Hagerstown Suns and Spartanburg Phillies played three scoreless innings yesterday before rain forced a suspension of play.

As a result, the teams will play a doubleheader today starting at 6:05 p.m., with a nine-inning first game and a seven-inning second game.

Hagerstown (27-24) is third in the Northern Division of the South Atlantic League, and Spartanburg (19-33) is fifth.
