ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 1300 block of Edmondson Ave. was walking near his home Monday when three teen-agers robbed him of $25.

THEFT: Western District -- Someone entered a car parked in the first block of N. Carey St. Sunday and stole a set of keys and a wallet containing cash, all valued at over $100.

THEFT/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a man Monday afternoon who attempted to leave McCrory's department store in the 2400 block of Liberty Height Ave. without paying for an $80 TV.

THEFT: Western District -- Jewelry valued at more than $200 was stolen from a house in the 1200 block of W. Lafayette Ave. Sunday.

THEFT: Western District -- Power tools worth nearly $1,000 were stolen from a truck in the first block of N. Schroeder St. Sunday.

THEFT: Western District -- A 10-speed bike valued at nearly $300 and owned by a resident of the 2000 block of E. North Ave. was stolen from the 1900 block of N. Bentalou St. Sunday.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 3800 block of Belle Ave. was about to enter a taxi in the 1600 block of W. North Ave. Monday afternoon when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at nearly $100.

THEFT/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a man Monday morning while he was removing tires from a van owned by the Simmons Memorial Church in the 600 block of N. Dukeland St. while the vehicle was parked outside the church.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a resident of the 1400 block of Division St. of cash and property, all valued at $700, in the 1200 block of W. North Ave. Saturday.

ROBBERY TRY/SHOOTING: Northern District -- A 27-year-old resident of the 1600 block of E. Monument St. was walking in the 2300 block of N. Charles St. about 9 p.m. Monday when two men, one with a handgun, demanded his money. When the man resisted, the gunman shot him in the right leg. The gunman and his accomplice escaped and the injured man was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered the Sports Cafe in the 3500 block of Chestnut Ave. in Hampden over the weekend by breaking a window and stole an undisclosed sum from two vending machines and a cash register.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A 14-year-old resident of the 2400 block of W. Cold Spring Lane was riding his bike near his home Sunday night when a man with a handgun robbed him of the bike.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- An 83-year-old resident of the 800 block of W. 36th St. answered a knock at his door Sunday night and was robbed of $50 by a knife-wielder.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the 300 block of Kerneway over the weekend through a rear door and stole a VCR and a 21-inch TV, all valued at more than $1,000.

ASSAULT: Southern District -- A resident of the 1100 block of Carroll St. was struck in the face by a man she knows during an argument in her house Monday night. The woman was not seriously injured and a warrant was to have been obtained for the arrest of the man, a resident of the 1100 block of Nanticoke St.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- Someone entered a house in the first block of S. Washington St. over the weekend and stole property valued at nearly $500.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- A resident of the 100 block of S. Washington St. was in the 300 block of S. Collington Ave. Monday when someone stole his bike, valued at more than $200.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- A VCR valued at nearly $450 was stolen from a house in the 100 block of N. East Ave. Monday.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- Someone entered the back yard of a house in the 200 block of S. Chester St. Monday and stole a compact disc player valued at nearly $200.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- A resident of the 1600 block of Elrino St. was riding his bike in the 1600 block of Broening Highway Sunday afternoon when a man pushed him off the bike, valued at $600, and stole it.

Baltimore County

BURGLARIES: Essex District -- Four homes in the 100 block of Hampshire Road and another in the first block of Berkshire Road were entered over the weekend by someone who stole cash and property, all valued at nearly $1,200. Entry was gained by opening unlocked windows or cutting panes of glass. At the time of the burglaries, between 11 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday, the occupants were asleep. A dog in one house was sleeping on the second floor and was not disturbed by the intruder.

BURGLARY: Essex District -- Someone entered National Foods in the first block of Nashua Court over the weekend and stole a freezer containing sea food and meat products. The freezer was valued at $450 and its contents nearly $1,400.

HARFORD COUNTY

THEFT: Bel Air -- Someone stole nine red & white gold tee flags and five orange traffic cones from the golf course at Brenmar Park in the 2700 block of Creswell Road over the weekend. The property was valued at $300.

THEFT: Bel Air -- A radio was stolen from a car on the lot of Jones Chrysler Plymouth in the 1500 block of Bel Air Road over the weekend.
