Tigers' 3-run 7th beats Baysox, 5-2

LONDON,ONTARIO — LONDON, Ontario -- Jimmy Alder's two-run double highlighted a three-run seventh as the London Tigers defeated the Bowie Baysox, 5-2, in a Double-A Eastern League game yesterday.

With the score tied at 2, Rudy Pemberton led off with a walk. Danny Bautista reached on a fielder's choice to set up Alder's double. Shannon Penn hit a sacrifice fly to center field to score Alder and close the scoring.

Winner Ben Blomdahl went seven innings, giving up six hits, two runs and five walks and striking out seven. Loser Jason Satre pitched seven innings, giving up seven hits, five runs, and one walk and striking out eight.
