* Elkridge: 5500 block of Railroad Ave.: Someone stole the tags off a 1989 Chevy van sometime between May 16 and May 23.

Route 100 and Santa Barbara Drive: Someone stole the front and rear tags from a yellow 1976 Ford LTD at 1:30 p.m. May 23. The side window of the car was smashed and a wallet was also stolen.

* Ellicott City: 10200 Wetherburn Road: Someone stole two lawn mowers (estimated at a value of $380 and $225), a yellow $150 McCole Weedwhacker and a red and white $150 blower from an open garage between 2:50 p.m. and 3:15 p.m.

9000 block Baltimore National Pike: Someone stole a dealer tag from a vehicle at Miller Brothers Chevrolet between 9 a.m. May 18 and 9 a.m. May 20.

5400 Landing Road: Someone stole the keys from the passenger seat of an open blue 1993 Dodge Caravan between 8 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. May 25. The five keys on a white string chain were worth $10.

10000 block of Ridge Road: Someone cut a cable gate and stole six rhododendrons valued at $176 from D. K. Snell Nursery between 7:30 p.m. May 22 and 8:45 a.m. May 23.
