FISHING

Tomorrow: DNR public meeting to discuss changes in non-tidal fishing regulations being considered for 1994, Hereford Middle School, Hereford, 7 p.m.

Wednesday: Monthly meeting of the Maryland Fly Anglers, Ridge Garden Apartments clubhouse, Old Harford Road and Putty Hill Avenue, 7:30 p.m. Jimmy Marks will speak on bass bug innovations. Public invited.

Thursday: DNR public meeting to discuss changes in non-tidal fishing regulations being considered for 1994, Frostburg State University's Louis Ort Library, Frostburg, 7 p.m.

June 2: DNR public meeting to discuss changes in non-tidal fishing regulations being considered for 1994, Cedarville Natural Resources Management Area, Hatchery Visitors Center, Cedarville, 7 p.m.

June 2: Monthly meeting of the Free State Fly Fishers, Hillsmere Elementary School, Annapolis, 7:30 p.m. Wayne Grauer, Tom Cooney and Walt Knapp of the Cortland Line Co., will give a casting clinic. The public is welcome.

HUNTING/SHOOTING

June 5 and 12: International Bowhunter Education Program, DNR Cheltenham District Wildlife Office, Upper Marlboro, 8 a.m. Deer anatomy, distance judging, when and where to shoot, blood trails, ethics and equipment, proficiency test with personal equipment. June 6: Sporting clays sessions at Stoney Creek Fishing and Hunting Club, 9090 Fort Smallwood Road, Pasadena, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call (410) 437-2107.

BOATING

June 11: Sail for Sight Regatta sponsored by the Baltimore City Yacht Association, HarborView Marina and Yacht Club, 4 p.m. The Sail for Sight Regatta raises funds for retinitis pigmentosa research, treatment and cure. The regatta also will include a race for blind and visually impaired youths. Funds are raised through pledges from entered boats. Call (800) 683-5555.
