(Week of May 12-18, 1968):

* Two new exits from Columbia to Route 108 were opened. The first exit opened was Eliot's Oak Road, between Harper's Farm Road and Route 108. The second was Ten Mills Road, running from Governor Warfield Parkway at the north entrance of Route 108.

* Theodore H. Schaefer of Clarksville was re-elected for the sixth time as president of the Maryland School Bus Contractor's Association. Bennett M. Gates, also a Howard County resident, was chosen to be the association's first vice president.
