Wildflower publication is available

Interested in the wildflowers along the Baltimore and Annapolis Trail Park?

A 50-page booklet containing drawings and descriptions of 44 wildflowers is available at the B&A ranger station in Severna Park. The booklet also contains a glossary and several blank pages for field notes.

Joe Macola of Apple Press in Glen Burnie donated the printing costs and supplied the first 1,000 copies.

The booklet costs $4 plus tax. Office hours are 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Mail orders also will be accepted. Send a check for $4.20 to The Friends of Downs Park and a self-addressed, stamped envelope to The B&A Trail Wildflower Booklet, P.O. Box 1007, Severna Park, Md. 21146. The envelope must be a 9-inches-by-6-inch one, and have $.75 postage.
