Tyler, Miller power Baysox by Yankees, 9-2

ALBANY, N.Y. -- Brad Tyler hit a three-run homer and Bren Miller went 2-for-5 with three RBI, leading the Bowie Baysox to a 9-2 victory over the Albany-Colonie Yankees in an Eastern League game last night.

The Baysox (21-12) scored first in the opening inning as Jim Wawruck scored on a wild pitch. In the third, Miller's double scored T. R. Lewis, extending Bowie's lead to 2-0.

In the bottom of the third, the Yankees (18-14) scored on an RBI by Jeff Livesey. Tyler scored Bowie's third run after a sacrifice by Stanton Cameron. Tyler, who had three hits and four RBI on the night, then hit his homer in the sixth, making it 6-1.
