2 men, one with handgun, rob Crofton fast-food restaurant

Two men, one armed with a handgun, robbed a Crofton fast-food restaurant Monday night of an undetermined amount of money.

Police said the men walked into Popeye's Chicken in the 1000 block of northbound Route 3 about 8:45 p.m. and ordered several employees to lie on the floor.

One man stuck a small silver handgun into the manager's side and forced him to open the cash registers, police said. Authorities could not provide a description of the suspects.

3 doctors' offices in Crofton ransacked

Three doctors' offices at a Crofton medical building were ransacked Saturday, but county police could not determine whether anything had been taken.

Police responding to a burglar alarm at the Crofton Medical Group building in the 1600 block of Crofton Center at 1:47 a.m. found three office doors open.
