* Ellicott City: 10100 block of Baltimore National Pike: A woman drove off with her wallet on top of her vehicle about 2

p.m. Monday. When she realized where the wallet was, she stopped but was unable to find it. The $38 gray leather wallet contained $300 in cash, two safe-deposit box keys, a Maryland driver's license, five credit cards and two automated teller machine cards.

9000 block of Chevrolet Drive: Someone broke into a 1989 Chevrolet van between 5 p.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Monday, and stole a $280 power drill, a $140 power drill, a $160 saw, a $55 jigsaw with a broken blade and two hammers valued at $40.

3400 block of Dogwood Drive: Someone damaged a mailbox about 4 p.m. Friday.

7800 block of James Ave.: Someone entered a house under construction between Friday and Monday, and stole a vanity and cabinets.
