Nintendo says Atari lost suit
Nintendo of America Inc. said yesterday that a federal judge has ruled that Atari Games, part-owned by Time Warner Inc., infringed on its copyrights and patents after illicitly obtaining information on how Nintendo systems work. Atari used the information to skirt a Nintendo security device designed to stop unlicensed games from being played on its machines, Nintendo said.
