THEFT: Central District -- Property valued at more than $180 was stolen from a car parked in the 400 block of W. Pratt St. Monday by someone who entered by breaking a window.

BURGLARY: Central District -- Someone entered an apartment in the first block of W. Madison St. Monday through a door and stole property valued at $400.

THEFT: Central District -- A cellular phone valued at $400 was stolen from the trunk of a car parked in the first block of E. Chase St. Sunday night or Monday morning.

CUTTING: Southwestern District -- A man with a knife was in the 300 block of S. Smallwood St. Monday when he attacked a resident of the 200 block of S. Furrow St. and cut him on the hand. The victim was treated at St. Agnes Hospital.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Four men robbed Juhung's grocery in the 2100 block of Ramsay St. of cash and soft drinks, all valued at $60, Monday evening after one of the men struck a store employee with a utensil.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered the office of White's auto sales in the 3200 block of Leeds St. over the weekend and stole property valued at $60.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Police responding to a burglary in the 1300 block of Wildwood Parkway Monday arrested a 40-year-old man who entered through a window and was stealing property. At the police station, the man attempted to hang himself with his T-shirt, but he was saved by police. The man was committed to a hospital for psychiatric evaluation.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 3100 block of Clifton Ave. Monday and stole cash, jewelry and appliances, all valued at more than $1,300.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Property of unknown value was stolen from J.J. Adams Fuel Co. in the 1800 block of Winchester St. by someone who entered the firm's office over the weekend.

CHURCH BURGLARY/ARREST: Western District -- Police responding to a burglary in progress at the Community Baptist Church in the 200 block of N. Mount St. early Monday arrested a man who entered through a rear window. The man was found hiding on the second floor and was being held pending charges.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Tools and appliances, all of unknown value, were stolen from Fred Roemer & Sons in the 2200 block of Pennsylvania Ave. over the weekend.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A gunman robbed A & B check cashing in the 1200 block of W. Baltimore St. of an undisclosed sum about 8 a.m. Monday.

STABBING/ARREST: Western District -- A resident of the 2300 block of Whittier Ave. was stabbed in the face Monday during an incident at his home. A suspect was later arrested.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Two female residents of the first block of Gorman Ave. were in the 700 block of Whitmore Ave. about 9 a.m. Monday when a gunman robbed them of several pieces of jewelry valued at more than $300.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men robbed a resident of the 2600 block of W. North Ave. of a pager and cash Sunday night while the victim walked in the 2700 block of W. North Ave.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men, one with a handgun, were in the 1900 block of Riggs Ave. Sunday when they robbed a resident of the 1100 block of N. Mount St. of less than $5.

PURSE SNATCH: Western District -- A resident of the 1200 block of N. Bentalou St. was in the 2100 block of W. Baltimore St. Monday morning when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all of unknown value.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 1500 block of Penrose Ave. was riding his bike in the 2000 block of N. Stricker St. Monday night when he was pushed off the bike by a man who stole it. The bike was valued at $90.

THEFT: Western District -- Someone entered Super Fried Chicken in the 1200 block of W. North Ave. Monday evening and used a set of bolt cutters to open several video game machines and steal and unknown number of quarters.

THEFT: Northern District -- Someone entered a car owned by a resident of Friendship, Anne Arundel County, while it was parked in the 300 block of E. 29th St. over the weekend and stole 35 music tapes valued at more than $150.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A gunman entered a carry-out in the 5800 block of Reisterstown Road Monday night and robbed a resident of the 600 block of N. Highland Ave. of cash and property, all valued at nearly $70.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone stole a bike valued at nearly $200 from the front porch of a house in the 3900 block of Cedardale Ave. Monday.

THEFT: Northwestern District -- A radio and cellular phone were stolen Monday night from a 1988 Saab parked in the 5400 block of Fairview Ave.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Property valued at $400 was stolen from a house in the 5400 block of Price Ave. Monday morning by someone who entered through a door.
