POLICE LOG

* Ellicott City: 10000 block of Baltimore National Pike: Someone struck a 1990 Chevrolet Cavalier, denting the front left panel and the bumper, and shattering the left parking light, between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Wednesday.

3600 block of Font Hill Drive: A rear door in a garage was kicked open between 9:25 a.m. and 2:40 p.m. Wednesday. Bedrooms in the house were ransacked, and jewelry was taken.

10200 block of Globe Drive: Furniture and clothing were stolen between 7:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

8800 block of Town and Country Blvd.: A bed was slashed, and dish soap was poured in a fish tank May 7 or May 8. Three rings were stolen.

8800 block of Town and Country Blvd.: A rear window was pried open between 6:45 a.m. and 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, and a videocassette recorder and several video games were stolen.

9100 block of Main St.: Silver coins were stolen between 7:15 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. Wednesday.

10300 block of Old Frederick Road: Someone entered a broken window in a garage Wednesday or Thursday and stole a saw.
