SHOOTING: Western District -- A resident of the 2800 block of Baker St. was in the 1200 block of N. Gilmor St. about 8:30 p.m. Monday when a gunman shot him in the arm and stomach. The victim was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was listed in serious but stable condition. Police were seeking a man wearing a gold T-shirt.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 900 block of Pennsylvania Ave. was waiting for a cab in the 100 block of N. Fulton Ave. about 1 a.m. Monday when a man pressed a handgun to her head and robbed her of $250.

CAB HOLDUP: Western District -- A man armed with a unknown object robbed a driver for the Diamond cab company of an undisclosed sum in the 1500 block of Winchester St. about 5 a.m. Monday.

CHILD ABUSE: Western District -- A 2-year-old boy from the 1300 block of N. Fulton Ave. was burned on the buttocks over the weekend and was treated at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Police were seeking a suspect in the case.

ARREST: Eastern District -- Police arrested Dean Holland, 27, of the 800 block of Beaumont Ave., and charged him with shooting two men Sunday night during an argument at the corner of N. Washington and E. 20th streets. Mr. Holland, who also was shot, was being held at the police station without bail after being treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He was charged with two counts of attempted murder and a handgun violation. Police were still attempting to learn who shot Mr. Holland. One of the men Mr. Holland is charged with shooting remains in serious condition at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center. The other man was released from Hopkins Hospital.

BURGLARY: Eastern District -- Someone entered an apartment in the 1600 block of E. Lafayette Ave. over the weekend and stole a jar containing $75 in dimes. A suspect was being sought.

BURGLARY: Eastern District -- Two electric pressure washers valued at $800 were stolen from Tool & Equipment Rental in the 4300 block of Pulaski Highway Monday by someone who entered through the front door.

THEFT: Eastern District -- Someone entered a house in the 2100 block of Cliftmont Ave. Sunday night or Monday morning and stole a 19-inch TV, two cases of baby formula and a radio, all valued at more than $500.

ASSAULT: Eastern District -- Police were seeking a 42-year-old resident of the 2100 block of W. Lexington St. who attacked a resident of the 2600 block of Orleans St. in the 2100 block of E. Jefferson St. over the weekend and cut him on the head with a sharp object. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

ROBBERY: Eastern District -- A resident of the 2200 block of Aiken St. was in the 1200 block of Darley Ave. Monday when she was struck in the face by a man who robbed her of $12.

ROBBERY: Eastern District -- A man with a knife robbed a resident of the 1100 block of Valley St. of $10 in the 900 block of E. Biddle St. Monday.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered Dover poultry products in the 2000 block of Hollins Ferry Road over the weekend through a rear door and stole a fax machine, tools and other items, all valued at nearly $3,000.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 1300 block of Homestead St. was in the 1500 block of Slingluff Ave. Monday afternoon when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $100.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A gunman robbed a resident of the 200 block of N. Monastery Ave. of $20 in the 3300 block of zTC W. Lexington St. Monday morning.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 4400 block of Old Frederick Road was in the 400 block of Swan Ave. Monday evening when a gunman robbed him of his jewelry.

THEFT: Southwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 300 block of Tyrone St. Monday and stole fishing equipment valued at more than $200.

Baltimore County

BURGLARY: Woodlawn District -- Someone entered a house in the 3400 block of Barry Paul Road through the front door Sunday and stole jewelry, a video game and cash, all valued at nearly $1,500.

THEFT: Cockeysville District -- A gold bracelet and a watch, all valued at $200, were stolen from a house in the first block of Cinder Lane Saturday night or Sunday morning.

BURGLARIES: Cockeysville District -- Someone entered an office building in the 1800 block of York Road over the weekend and stole a copying machine valued at $3,000 from T.E. Byerly & Co. From the offices of Gipe Associates in the same building, someone stole a TV valued at $200 and a VCR also valued at $200. The offices of Reuben H. Donnelley in the same building were also entered but it was not known what, if any, property was stolen.
