DEATHS ELSEWHERE

May 08, 1993

Ann Todd, 82, a leading British actress who co-starred in the classic "The Seventh Veil," died Thursday at London's Chelsea and Westminster Hospital after a stroke. She found film success in 1945 when, after a decade as a stage actress, she co-starred with James Mason in "The Seventh Veil," a low-budget psychological thriller that became a classic of its type.

William J. Dorvillier, 85, founder, editor and publisher of the San Juan Star, who won the Pulitzer Prize in 1961 for distinguished editorial writing, died of cancer Wednesday at Concord Hospital in New Hampshire.
