BALTIMORE CITY

* STABBING/ARREST: Central District -- Police arrested a 15-year-old boy and remanded him to the Charles H. Hickey School at Cub Hill in Baltimore County after he allegedly stabbed another youth in the back Monday night in the 1100 block of Myrtle Ave. The victim, a resident of the 1000 block of Edmondson Ave., was listed in serious condition at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Police said the suspect told them he stabbed the other boy to prevent him from setting his hair on fire.

* THEFT: Southeastern District -- Property valued at more than $300 was stolen from the rear storeroom of McCrory's department store in the 3700 block of Eastern Ave. over the weekend. An employee is suspected of stealing the property.

* CHURCH BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Someone nTC entered the Spanish Christian Church in the 3100 block of E. Baltimore St. between April 25 and May 3 and stole nearly $600 from an office.

* SCHOOL BURGLARY/ARRESTS: Southeastern District -- Police arrested two teen-age boys and charged them with entering the Holabird Elementary School in the 1500 block of Imla Ave. over the weekend and stealing property valued at nearly $200. The boys were released into the custody of their parents.

* BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 3600 block of Eversley Ave. through a window

Monday and stole property of unknown value.

* THEFT: Northwestern District -- Lawn-care equipment of unknown value was stolen from an outdoor storage shed in the 2600 block of Taney Road Monday.

* THEFT: Northwestern District -- A man entered Woolworth's department store in the 6500 block of Reisterstown Road Monday afternoon and stole greeting cards and two blank video tapes, all valued at more than $100.

* THEFT: Northwestern District -- A 20-inch bike valued at $50 was stolen from the back yard of a house in the 3600 block of Woodbine Ave.

* BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Property valued at more than $1,000 was stolen from a house in the 4200 block of Kenshaw Ave. Monday by someone who entered through a rear window.

* STABBING/ARREST: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 3900 block of Maine Ave. was stabbed in the chest Monday evening during an incident at his home and was taken to Sinai Hospital for treatment. A suspect was arrested.

* BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 2800 block of Boarman Ave. Monday through a rear basement door and stole property valued at more than $700.

* THEFT: Northwestern District -- A lawn mower valued at $300 was stolen from the back yard of a house in the 3100 block of Howard Park Ave. Monday night.

* ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the 3300 block of Old York Road was walking near his home Monday when two men shoved him to the ground and robbed him of nearly $400.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- A bike valued at $200 was stolen from a garage in the 5400 block of N. Charles St. Monday by someone who entered through a door.

* STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1988 Jeep Cherokee with Maryland plates 563551M and owned by a resident of the 900 block of McHenry St. was stolen from the 2600 block of N. Charles St. Monday.

BALTIMORE COUNTY

* BURGLARY: White Marsh District -- Someone entered the office at the Cedar Lane driving range in the 7600 block of Rossville Blvd. between Sunday night and Monday morning through a rear window and stole $100.

* THEFT: White Marsh District -- A small sum of money set aside to be deposited in a bank was stolen from the Gemstar Corp. in the 10300 block of Pulaski Highway between 2 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Monday.

* BURGLARY: Towson District -- A camera and a VCR, all valued at more than $2,000, were stolen from a house in the first block of Debonair Court between Sunday night and Monday morning by someone who entered through a bedroom window.

* STOLEN CAR: Towson District -- A 1979 Toyota Celica with Maryland plates ZYR235 was stolen Monday evening from Hillway Avenue near Solar Circle.

* BURGLARY: Parkville District -- Someone entered the Without Spot or Wrinkle laundry in the 9300 block of Harford Road between Saturday and Sunday and stole a small sum of money from a candy display.
