Lee Haney, Old Mill, baseball
Haney was a major contributor in three of four victories last week as fifth-ranked Old Mill (8-3) extended its winning streak to seven games. The senior left-hander (4-0) went the distance twice, stopping top-ranked (11-1) Arundel on Tuesday, 6-5, on a five-hitter and No. 11 (6-5) Loyola, 14-7, Saturday. Haney also hit a triple to tie Broadneck (6-6) in the bottom of the 10th Wednesday and scored the winning run on a wild pitch.

Melanie McMullen, North County
Girls lacrosse
McMullen had two goals and an assist in an 11-8 victory over Archbishop Spalding (4-8) and came back with a hat trick and two assists in a 13-3 romp over Meade (0-8) as the Knights ran their record to 6-3 overall.
Boys lacrosse
Jason Lonchar, Severn School
Lonchar had six goals, the final one coming with 1:54 left in overtime to pace the 12th-ranked Admirals (5-7) to a 7-6 upset of archrival and No. 5 St. Mary's (8-4). The senior attackman also had a late goal in Severn's near upset of top-ranked St. Paul's (11-0) as the hosts dropped a 12-11 decision.
Gymnastics
Holly Firebaugh, Old Mill
Firebaugh was the overall winner, taking three of four events to amass 35.2 points in a three-team meet on Wednesday won by Broadneck, 116.1 to 115.3 by Old Mill.
Tennis
Neeley Harris, Arundel
Arundel extended its team record to 9-0 with a trio of victories last week -- by 6-3 over Chesapeake and 9-0 over both North County and Northeast -- as Harris, a freshman, remained undefeated as the Wildcats' No. 1 girls singles player.
