SHOOTING: Eastern District -- A 28-year-old resident of the 900 block of Maderia St. was listed in critical condition at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center after being shot in the lower back early Tuesday in the 700 block of N. Patterson Park Ave. during a robbery attempt. The victim and two friends were seated in a car after leaving a carryout at 1:10 a.m. Two gunman approached on either side of the vehicle and demanded the occupants' money. When the driver sped off, the victim, who was seated behind the driver, was shot. No arrests have been made.

ROBBERY/ARRESTS: Southern District -- Police arrested three men in connection with the $200 armed robbery Monday morning of a resident of the 1100 block of Dexter St. in the 2500 block of Tolley St. The suspects were arrested a short time later and were being held at the police station pending charges.

THEFT: Southern District -- Someone entered a car parked in the 300 block of S. Sharp St. over the weekend and stole a camera and clothing, all valued at $2,000.

BURGLARY: Southern District -- Cash and a .25-caliber semiautomatic handgun were stolen from the office of Flowers By Chris in the 500 block of Light St. Sunday night or Monday morning.

BURGLARY: Southern District -- Someone entered a house in the 2200 block of Norfolk St. Monday and stole a VCR and an air conditioner, all valued at $400.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- A resident of the 3100 block of Monument St. was riding his bike in the 3100 block of Pulaski Highway Sunday night when he was knocked to the ground by an older youth who stole the bicycle, valued at $150.

STABBING/ARREST: Southeastern District -- A resident of the first block of N. Potomac St. was listed in stable condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital after being stabbed in the left chest Sunday night in the 3000 block of E. Fairmount Ave. Arrested and charged with aggravated assault was Brenda Heil, 28, of the 3200 block of E. Baltimore St.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- A man visiting a resident of the 500 block of Umbra St. was being sought in the theft of more than $1,000 Sunday night from the house.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- VCRs, compact discs and other electronic equipment, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen from Ace Electronics in the 4100 block of E. Lombard St. by someone who entered through a rear door.

PURSE SNATCH: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 8100 Pleasant Plains Road in Baltimore County was in the 3400 block of Belair Road Sunday afternoon when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $80. Later, police arrested a suspect and recovered the woman's property.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Cash and property, all valued at $800, were stolen from a house in the 5100 block of Frederick Road Sunday by someone who entered through the front door.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 2200 block of Pinewood Ave. was in the 2800 block of Presbury St. Monday afternoon when two men, one with a handgun, robbed her of $67.

THEFT: Northwestern District -- Someone entered the Parkway Exxon station in the 5600 block of Reisterstown Road Monday and stole a case of soft drinks valued about $8.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed the 7/Eleven store in the 6400 block of Reisterstown Road Monday of an undisclosed sum.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 2900 block of Violet Ave. Monday through the front door and stole a water heater from the basement.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- An undisclosed sum was stolen from a house in the 4900 block of Belle Ave. Monday by someone who entered through a rear window.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Eighteen sheets of plywood were stolen from a house in the 1800 block of Franklin St. over the weekend by someone who entered through a rear window.

SHOOTING: Western District -- A resident of the 1100 block of N. Stricker St. was listed in serious condition at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center after being shot in the left back and shoulder during an incident Monday at his home. A suspect accidentally shot himself in the hand and was under police guard at Union Memorial Hospital.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A man with a knife robbed a resident of the 2300 block of Whittier Ave. of $263 Monday in the 2300 block of Bryant Ave.

CUTTING: Western District -- Police were seeking a man who cut a resident of the 2000 block of McKean Ave. on the shoulder with a box cutter during an argument in the 2000 block of Rayner Ave. The victim was taken to Bon Secours Hospital.

THEFT: Western District -- A man entered Penn Optical at Mondawmin Mall Monday night and stole 300 pairs of glasses from displays. The glasses were valued at $3,000.

SUSPICIOUS DEATH: Essex District -- An autopsy was being performed to determine the cause of death of a 30-year-old woman found in her Pebble Creek Apartment in the first block of Valley Arbor Court shortly before 1 a.m. Tuesday. The woman, whose name was being withheld pending notification of relatives, was found dead by medics responding to a call of an unconscious woman. The source of the call was being investigated. The woman's car, a white 1980 Plymouth Reliant with Maryland plates ZSA551 is missing.
