Host families sought for European students

The Columbia Association is seeking two host families for two European students.

One of the students is studying financial services at the University of Cergy-Pontoise, in Columbia's French sister city Cergy-Pontoise.

The 21-year-old man speaks English and will travel to Columbia in June or July for six weeks.

The host family will provide room and board while he completes his unpaid internship.

The second student is a city planner from Estonia who will intern in Columbia with LDR International from Aug. 23 to Nov. 15.

The visit is coordinated by the International Visitors Center of Maryland.

The student is a fellow for a program in business management training that arranges individualized training with American firms for individuals from Eastern Europe who work in the private sector.

Information: Jo Lamp, 715-3162.
