Suns defeat Crawdads, 2-1

HICKORY, N.C. -- Lonnel Roberts scored on a bases-loaded wild pitch by Mike Bertotti in the sixth inning to lift the Hagerstown Suns to a 2-1 victory over the Hickory Crawdads in a Double-A South Atlantic League game last night.

The victory was Hagerstown's 11th in the past 13 games.

Winner Levon Largusa (2-1) pitched 6 2/3 innings, giving up one hit and three walks and striking out nine. Brad Cornett earned his second save, going 2 1/3 innings, giving up one run and one walk and striking out five.
