Two Anne Arundel County men, already in jail on charges of robbing an inn in Jessup in March, have been charged with robbing an Elkridge pizzeria.

Angel Alberto Maymi, 19, of the 400 block of Pamela Road in Glen Burnie, and Raymond Rivera, 24, of the 700 block of Queenstown Road in Severn, were charged Monday with robbery using a deadly weapon and theft over $300 in the March 18 hold-up at Little Caesar's Pizza in the 6300 block of Washington Blvd., police said.

They are being held in lieu of $500,000 bond at the Howard County Detention Center, police said.

Both men were in jail on charges of armed robbery, handgun violations and theft in a robbery at the Relax Inn in the 8000 block of Washington Blvd. on March 31, police said.

In the pizzeria robbery, two men entered the shop. One displayed a handgun, and the other unzipped a bag to show a sawed-off shotgun, police said.

The men demanded cash from the employees, and fled after the workers handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

The pair was taken into custody about 1 p.m. March 31 in Severn after Anne Arundel County police spotted them in a black Chevrolet, which matched the description of the getaway car used in the inn's robbery, police said.
