Baltimore man charged in Arundel break-in E9 NORTH COUNTY -- Linthicum * Ferndale * Brooklyn Park

County police have charged a 35-year-old Baltimore man with breaking into into Joanne's Perfectionary Store in Brooklyn Park on April 5.

Police said yesterday they charged Gary Samuel Styles, of the 200 block of Audrey Ave., with one count of breaking and entering.

Two alleged accomplices, Howard R. Baines II, 22, of the 100 block of W. Ostend St. and John Emerson Trebes, 32, of the 3800 block of Potee St., both of Baltimore, were arrested April 8. Mr. Baines was charged with one count of breaking and entering. Mr. Trebes was charged with one count of theft.

According to the police report, Navy sweat shirts, cigarettes and candy were stolen from the shop in the 600 block of Church St. during the break-in.

Investigators got a tip that the sweat shirts were being sold at Murph's Tavern on Patapsco Avenue in Baltimore. Baltimore police were called to the tavern April 8 and called county police who arrested Mr. Baines, then Mr. Trebes.
